Tek Scope probe accessories

Sep 09, 2006 4 Replies

Hi,

im in need of some clip attachments and spare ground leads for P6106 (standard/3.5mm) and P6136 (submini/2.5mm) probes since i got mine without these parts (for about 15$ each which i consider to be a good price) I was not sucessful in finding a source of these (Tek or other brand that is compatible) for acceptable prices. I found some clip attachments for about 1.5$ but they are designed for larger diameter probes and dont really fit as i found out. Short spring-type ground connectors would also be useful.

Anyone knows a good source for such things?

Already checked their site, they dont have any of the parts id need.

I guess ill end up buying some cheap tek probes that come with the parts i need and sell the bare probes again. Since ebay germany has near zero scope probe related listings (as do the

2 or 3 used-equipment-dealers over here) , ill have to go trough all the hassle of importing the parts from the US again. Doesnt sound like fun to me but what else should i do...

Where are you located (geographically speaking)? I have a small box of miscellaneous Tek probe spare parts - maybe I can do something for you.

Any URL with a photo/drawing/dimensions of these parts?

Im in germany, near munich, so not that far from you and with acceptable postage rates. I have a small box of

Little hard to find, but rough descriptions: The ground leads are short black wires with a alligator clip (or small connector) on one side and a special clip contact on the other side.

The Clip attachments are intended to be plugged over the probe head, and look something like the first part above the probe head on the picture here:
