RTD use Q

OK; there are these nice ceramic substrates with platinum film deposited to make a 100 ohm (or 50 or 1000) resistor,for use in measuring temperature which is linearally correlated accurately with the resistance; they have 2 leads like an ordinary resistor. Then there are these RTD probes made with those devices, BUT there aer now THREE leads(!). Where can i get eXplicit info concerning the care and USE of these three phase global warmers?

Not quite linear, but close. You can get surface mount units too,

1206s or whatever.

Omega and the other RTD folks have appnotes.

A 3-wire RTD just saves a little copper over using a 4-wire RTD. That matters a little in industrial systems with long cable runs.

I know that a 4-wire RTD would not be three-phase WHY connected.. A slightly better description might be "Kelvin" if it was implemented correctly inside.
