totally disagree, at higher temperatures these will smell bad. and vibration will get you too. there is a paper describing charge carrier mutation in flexible substrates for a 100 to 101 percent increase of body temperature under argon atmosphere in space environments that points out the effect of climate change on these constructs. so no reason to worry about it in more mundane amplifier stages unless at stage performances where the base drum resonates with the substrates.
