Hi Fred,

Hi Fred,

Sheesh! "I can't (yet) place a call to the cell phone of THE PERSON STANDING BESIDE ME. So, instead, I'll call The Police and see if

*that* works..."

"And, as the shooting range is closed for the holiday, I'll put an apple on my nephew's head and see if I can hit it with the .45 my wife gave me as a present!"

Makes you wonder what they'd do if you gave them a box of CONDOMS!

Yes, these folks *deserve* a visit from a uniformed officer and a day at the station to sort out their idiocy. I suspect sharing their story with friends and acquaintances ("Guess where *I* spent XMAS day??!") would do a lot towards cutting back on these abuses.

Hey! Gneiss to see ya back!

It's a little depressing, if you're into audio books, to constantly hear words misread - pronounced as they are spelled.

The sun shown in the sky - vs the sun shone (shawn)....

Also, if I here one more gormless interview-ee start their answer with the word 'So'...........

Appearances can be as deceptive as anything else. Better not to know.
