Handball, played on the same type of court as racquetball, is supposedly
1-7/8".
Golf ball is not hollow, but is a bit smaller (1-5/8 or so), and I know for a fact that some dogs (especially those with small mouths) love them. The throw really well. But... probably a choking hazard for big dogs.
