Proposed way to topple North Korean leadership

I added this to another thread but no one picked up on it. I basically comes down to bringing information to the N. Korean people about the rest of the world in a non threatening way. It can't be just straight western propaganda, but entertainment stories with a background that is normal life in most democracies. I don't know why we can't flood the country with flash drives, Micro SD cards by the billions. Getting more computers in would be more difficult, but the $5 Raspberry pi could be configured to play videos, or present loads of text.

Here's an interesting article on how to handle North Korea.

Something is deeply wrong when the world allows a dictator to starve millions and still retain power. I would use the same logic of world war II, we killed a couple hundred thousand civilians to save many more lives. We can try to preserve as many people as possible but getting rid of the little dictator will save more lives over the long term.

Read up on it. It is happening TODAY! The NK people are hungry to find out what is really going on outside, and there are smugglers who are willing to risk their lives to bring the info to them. It is apparently fairly easy to wade across rivers into NK with a backpack full of CDs, DVDs and flash drives.

U.S. talks a good game but doesn't give a damn about any of that. They kept Pol Pot in power when they knew he was killing millions of people.

Because it's boring?

All they need is electricity and monitors and keyboards and a secure, safe place to hide them.

Regrettably I must concur. It will be the first *just* war the West has waged for decades. There's no telling what that slit-eyed little shit would be capable of in just a few short years if no action is taken.

How do the South Koreans and Japanese feel about being sacrificed for our feels?

I don't think it's so much that the world is allowing it, but as long as NK can supply raw material to China and provide a market for China, They're the ones who will keep the world at bay.

China can't defend NK against the U.S. There will be nothing left to defend after the first strike anyway.

Apart from the usual retaliatory weapons. You spread them around, and don't put them where they are easy to locate. Mutual Assured Destruction is a well-worked out game plan.

There's also this regime in North America that has pots of money, but won't provide universal health care. Yo might feel like getting morally indignant about that too.

Exactly. They don't want millions of starving NKs or any other fallout from a war. It might give them an excuse for going on a real estate binge, though.

China doesn't have much to retaliate with, the bulk of their delivery vehicles are strictly short range. A strike against the U.S. will mean instant extinction:

Trust old Bill to assess the US as having "pots of money" and completely fail to subtract all the debt incurred during all the years of Socialist style budgetary extravagance!
