OT: Home Depot

Reading the Home Depot insert in the newspaper this morning I discovered that Stanley Tools has trade-marked "FUBAR" (Functional Utility Bar)

I wonder if they know its original meaning ?:-)

I don't know but I wonder if trademarking a colloquial expression will hold up.

Probably not but I doubt anyone will want to lay claims onto that one :-)

Big deal. Most of them will be used by illegal aliens who wouldn't know what it means.

Of the 11 "Fubar" trademarks registered, the below 3 are still alive.
