OT: Breast cancer

Everyone is missing the point.

It's not about rationing but about creating more instances of metastasization. What is the best way to sell your product? Get people to require it. (think of tabaco)

Remember, the public option was suppose to give people the ability to have preventive care and a large part of it's cost reduction was about this. e.g., Cancer treatment is expensive. By giving people the ability to have preventive care then the cost can be much cheaper since you are catching it before it does real damage.

Now we are being told that we don't need preventive care. No self-exams(which costs the governement nothing and shows that it's not about rationing).

Hence the logical conclusion is that they do not want us to be preventive. Hence they want us to get terminal or close to terminal cancer. But why? Since cancer is extremely expensive and most people cannot afford it and most insurance companies have issues wiht the cost people, in general, will be financially strapped if they get such major diseases.

But why? Because it gets people into buying their public option. If everyone has cancer and no one can pay for it then obviously when the government offers their "free candy" people will eat it up. This goes back to the basic strategy of the crack dealer who initially gives away his dope for free to get people hooked.

The logical argument is very simple and is supported by many facts. On the surface it may look like rationing but since the government has not yet gotten it's public option through there is no rationing. (it could be planned so when they do the initial costs are down but I doubt this is the reason as I believe they are setting up the american people to want the public option)

For example. Suppose you are the ruler of a small country and want X to happen. What do you do? You find what thing that needs to make X happen so that "X follows logically from Y". i.e., Y=>X. Then you simply implement Y and X will follow(in logic it is necessary but not necessarily in politics).

Similar tactic's are claimed that drug companies use. i.e., Create a cure for a disease, Spread the disease, collect money, rinse and repeat.

Of course democrates are all too willing to believe this about the unethical drug companies but not about their own politicans they elect.

Karma is a nice thing though... You'll get exactly what you deserve in life sooner or later.

To quote an Obama goon: "Only one in 1900".

Sounds small? Only 79,000 in the USA. ...Jim Thompson

And the most insidious sort tends to occur well before 50. No worry though. They'll get plenty of end-of-life counseling.

As Rahmbo said so succinctly, =93You never want a serious crisis to go to waste". If you do not have a crisis? You create one!

Never ascribe to malice that which can be explained by incompetence.

They want their plan, they think it's good, they've got no idea what they're doing, and they're willing to make up stories to get it done.

Hmmm...I guess that's a combo-plate.

I don't think they want people to die, they're just trying to save money. Breast cancer in the U.S. is extremely curable, caught early. But screening an entire country of women to find the few with cancer is expensive.

It's cheaper to let them die.
