OT: Binary days - big whoop!

We've had a passel of "binary days" recently - 1/01/11, 1/10/11, 1/11/11, and everybody from the comix to Facebook are all a-twitter about "Gee, we won't have another binary day 'til _November_!

Gasp!

Anybody remember 1961?

The first upside-down year since 1881, and THE LAST UPSIDE-DOWN YEAR UNTIL

6009!!!!!!!!!

Just felt like sharing this tidbit. ;-)

Happy day after the latest "binary day!"

Cheers! Rich

OK, you win, hands down! That's not only upside-down, but a palindrome! (then again, so is 1881, but still...)

Thanks! Rich

My brother once showed me a string of calculations that answered the question, "What would Dolly Parton be without silicone" (or some such), and the answer was 55378008. ;-)

My Dad (RIP) once showed me one about "who profits from so many low-MPG cars?" where the answer was 71077345.

Cheers! Rich

Incorrect!! We'll have another binary day on 10/1/11, another on 10/10/11, and yet another on 10/11/11.
