The post is quoted as it was posted. The above is what showed up on my screen; I tacked a general comment to the end. Maybe your gripe is ctually with the previous people in the chain who didn't add [snip].

s,

Mud, intelligence and geniality? Over-rated.

Just move somewhere where you can see a foreign country. (Sarah Palin) El Paso, TX has some pretty good food, I hear.... :)

Well, Texas *is* right next to Mexico...

And I lived in both Massachusetts AND California for a couple years - those are basically foreign countries, according to Palin's version of "the Real America" hehe ;)

Of course, I'm also over 50, plump, balding, etc. - pics of *me* in a bathing suit holding a hunting rifle would be... .....eeeeew......

Well, then how 'bout a picture of you holding an ugly baby with Downs Syndrome?

OK, Sorry. That was way out of line.

WOOF!

Hey, OTOH, maybe I could wear a Medieval Robe, a' la' Rennaissance Festival garb, with a big staff in one hand and carrying a small keg of Ale in the other ;)

OK. Lets try my brutal approach.

NO Wall Street bailout, instead a Main Street bailout, the banksters get their hides shaved but the fools who took out the funky loans get a soft landing instead of the hard landing they have been getting.

Take the banksters (especially the ones who super floated the bad loans as collateralized securities), the unscrupulous loan brokers that set up the loans and the congresscritters who passed the banking deregulation that set this up and Enron before it (it is the same ones mostly); and strip them of all wealth and throw them in jail for a decade, the fines imposed (complete pauperization) will be used to offset the cost of the Main Street bailout.

Extraordinary claim, please begin extraordinary support. Please begin with what happened in 1999 and discuss why it so set things up for the bubble just a few years later.
