Interesting, I imagine this is makes RG-174U good for composite video such as the output of an analog CCTV camera. CCTV monitors have AGC so it dosn't matter if all of a video signal is attenuated a bit but if the high frequencys are reduced more than the low frequencys the picture becomes less sharp.

sorry, I meant to write 7805, but it has 50 Ohm and an additional shielding foil.
RG-174 series coaxial cables are 50 ohms, and composite video is 75 ohms. There are 75 ohm cables that are similar to RG-174, that are suitable.
