Need a source for 'guitar' type plugs and cabling

If neutrik is what I've been using, it's CRAP!!!! easy to grab, nice tilt, BUT!!! in one year the plastic all crumbled releasing the cables, connections, etc plus all wonky becaus the crowd eahc other in the instrument when plugged in. Couldn't even glue parts back together, because touch and crumbles more.

I don't think Robert can accommodate 14.5mm diameter since that is quite large.

That's unlikely real Neutrik. Even when it says so on the part, there are a lot of fakes from China out there.

14.5mm large for a 6.35mm plug? would be hard to get sockets closer than that there is some sort of standard for jack patch panels which is 15.875mm pitch

Standard would be less than 13mm. Normally the jacks should not be placed that tight but I have seen that on older mixers. Seems like that's the problem Robert is having.

The four appear to be evenly spaced 1/2 inch centers, which makes it a bit tight.

look up Creative Labs, EMU1212 system, with the 0202 daughter board. Does not appear to be a drawing in the manual, but from the picture appears to be very tight spacing.

just measured from center of jack #1 to center of jack #4, 3 holes are 1

5/8 inch

around 13.75 mm centers. No wonder EVERY plug doesn't work.

One way to go smaller would be one of those 6.35mm to 3.5mm adaptors and then a 3.5mm plug.

eg: this 9.5mm wide adaptor

That looks like a design screw-up.

NEVER had any kind of problem with their website. Your system must be goofus or anti HTML 5 or swearword Vista. Replace it with Win95 or "better" (except swearword).

Given common availability of 12.5mm plug shells, "choice" fits better than "screw-up" here...
