Multi-conductor transmission line impedance

Fairchild has a nice selection for FETs. With BJT it's bit more dire in the high current range. I know people in Europe who like RF-BJTs for this kind of stuff but personally I'd rather not, too concerned about longterm availability. Plus many now come from EU suppliers and there I had my share of not so stellar customer service. Heck, one company didn't even want to send me samples after I told them they can charge me for them.

That's usually the issue with SRDs, availability. One reason I never really considered them. The bigger mainstream manufacturers do not make any.

I did take a look and put it aside right away. Usually an order of magnitude more oomph is needed, an amp or so, and then there is the stock situation. Only 31 in stock at Farnell, that's it. Not my kind of solution.

Sadly, it only runs under Win 8. with 16 GB of RAM and a 3 TB hard drive. ;-)

Just use DDT, it's safer.
