The old motherboard which is probably defective looks fried.
I have two explanations for this:
- The dual graphics cards 7900 gtx fried the motherboard... possibly because of too low airflow to them.
- The led connectors weren't properly attached, maybe caused electrical frieing ? (unlikely though).
The frieing seems to be all across the motherboard, pictures:
Especially notice the frieing near the pc-beeper, bottom, right corner (near the smiley looking thingy)
Those orange spots look like fries. They are everywhere.
The replacement/rma motherboard doesn't have fry spots like that.
What do you think ? Fry spots or not fry spots ? ;)
