MgB2 by electrophoresis

Respected sir, Recently I had joined the group. Let me first of all introduce myself to you. I am Hyam R.S. working in the field of MgB2 superconducting films. Inorder to synthesize MgB2 we are making use of electrophoretic deposition technique. After the synthesis of boron films Mg is diffused into these films in vapour phase in vacuum condition of 10-6 torr. I need your help regarding the interaction of particles of B which are very stable with Mg vapours. Which are the factors controlling the synthesis of MgB2 from these interaction. You need a solid state chemist with an interest in vapour deposition. There may be one in a country near you, but don't bet on it. A user group of electronic engineers probablyu isn't a good place to look.

I have a hard time figuring out what you are after. It sounds to me that you describe above the most common technique for the MgB2 growth, namely boron film deposition followed by an anneal in Mg vapour. Electrophoresis (which I haven't heard of in conjunction with MgB2 deposition before) would seem to imply some sort of an electric field which would drive the Mg into B, but you make no reference to such.

Extremely complicated a question! You want someone to do all the hard work on MgB2 synthesis on your behalf. You surely know the original paper on the MgB2 discovery

Some pointers to its fabrication include cond-mat/0208476 and cond-mat/0103335. You may also want to read the review by C. Buzea in Supercond. Sci. Tech. vol14 R115-146 and follow the references cited there.
