Low Barrier Height Diodes

Gentlemen,

Can someone suggest a commonly available diode with a very low Vf capable of passing up to 1A continuously and with a reverse breakdown of at least 24V? A Vf of 0.2V or less would be nice. Thanks.

I doubt that exists. You might get close to 300 mV at 1 amp and room temp.

Some active rectifier, namely a mosfet, could do that. And there are "smart bypass" diodes.

Active rectifier can do this, but... it'll cost ya.

A mosfet is sometime used as a near zero drop diode.
