Looking for ready-made PCI thermal sensor for Linux

I've been happy with a TempTrax unit. It connects via a serial port rather than PCI.

You'll have to do a bit of hacking to read it directly from a shell script.

I am looking for a PCI card that would plug into a PC and would be capable of accepting an analog signal from a thermal sensor and converting it to a digital value accessible by a shell script in Linux. Range: room temperatures.

Is there anything like that available off-the-shelf?

Thanks
