Looking for an RF power generator

Nov 14, 2006 1 Replies

Hi,

I am looking for an RF power generator in some 20-100MHz range that would be able to supply some 100W RMS power and would not mind working into a strictly capacitive load. Application - small dielectric heating cell in chemistry.

I was not able to find anything on the Net.

Is anything like that readily available off the shelve?

Thanks

Buy a radio transmitter. As long as ham radio is not totally dead, there should be be many available.

A capacitor is not a load. It will not dissipate. If you are doing diathermy like things, then just make your lossy capacitor part of the tank circuit. Protect against RF burns.
