Does anyone know how the polarity of operation for the inhibit pin that is available on the SO-8 package only? The data sheet does not describe the function of the inhibit input, other than calling it an inhibit. Which polarity inhibits the regulator? Thanks.
This datsheet doesn't show anything clearly.
RTFM. Page 4 shows a pretty picture with a switch for on/off control. 0V = ON, Vcc via 51k = OFF

The figure on page four shows the ON/OFF pin pulled up to Vcc/IN with a

I sit corrected. What a thoroughly unhelpful datasheet. FABM would have been more appropriate (Find A Better Manual).
ST have some of the worst datasheets.
