LM293 is a Comparator? Voltage reference?

Apr 23, 2011 10 Replies

Hi

I found a LM293 in my parts - LM293Z-2.5 in a TO92 housig.

But, AFAIK it is a dual comparator.

Or did I miss something?

LM2931Z-2.5?

Grant.

It's a 2.5 volt LDO voltage regulator,,,,,

It's a Low Power Low Offset Voltage Dual Comparator

YOu are going to have one hell of a time putting a dual comparator into a TO-92 package.

Like the man said, it is an LDO.

Jim

LOL how do you get that out of 3 pins ? PMSL

:

Yep, there really is a 1 on the next line...

Thanks

Input, Ground, 1-wire interface. Dac for other side of comparator. It's barely possible.

You can get hundreds of superfast comparators in one chip. FPGA LVDS receivers.

Or if the OP is dyslexic, it could be an LM329 voltage reference.
