HI.
I try to make simple test with LED diodes and how they react when they are exposed to sunlight. Depending on LED type you can get some reasonable voltage but the current is in microAmps range. If we use magnifier then i can the current is boosted in mili amp range ( around 2 - 5 mA ). All together useless if you dont use any additional elements.
Now. there is a guy on YT that made the same test but with UV led and thyristor. My question would be:
-is it possible to run something stronger ( lets say 3W ) LED diode instead buzzer.
- 1000 LED's would produce around 1100V and maximum of 1mA. Would it make sense to get some high voltage converter to get some usable setup ( let's say 12V setup ) ?
Anyhow, quite interesting but unfortunately current are , in my opinion, too small to make any use of this.
