Two things: Since i do not use that term, how dare you put those words into my mouth; you are expected to understand that some people will use motional impedance and some will use dynamic impedance and that they both refer to the same thing.

Then again maybe your vocabulary is not expandable.

The impedance of an unconstrained quartz crystal is different from the impedance you'd see if you potted it in - say - epoxy, so "dynamical motional imepedance" might capture a difference in meaning that might be important in a specific context.

There's also the point that language isn't always used to make things perfectly clear. Your claim that some of your firm's products are "insanely good" does send a perfectly clear message, but probably not the one that you intended to send.
