I would like to stop the hp updates on my computer. I have noted that when my computer is slow on the internet HP updates is always running. Where do I shut this down at? Program name? These processes are always running. hpqste08.exe hpqtra08.exe HpqCmon.exe hpwuSchd2.exe hphmon05.exe hpsysdrv.exe hpsysdrv.exe These processes pop up and disappear very quickly (>1 sec) hpZipm12.exe HPPRO.exe Thanks, Mike

Run msconfig to see if you can disable them.

Remove it from your startup folder.

Uninstall the HP drivers & use the generic Windows drivers instead.

I like a lot of the sysinternals/winternals tools, autoruns.exe is particularly useful

Either the startup menu or the taskbar icon.
