He's listed as J Shepard living with Rita J Shepard (86) and Jack V Shepard (87). (760) 598-1123
1950 Cherrywood Street, Vista, CA 92081He could be in his early 50's living with Mommy and Daddy. It's possible that he's Jack V Shepard, but I doubt he's 87. I think it's more likely he's an an adopted little bastard.
I knew he was formerly of Oceanside, CA because he posted with his IP address showing in his post headers once.

I hope that family tears you a new asshole, asshole.
hamilton > How do you know ?
Several times over the years he has slipped up with his anonymous server BS, and revealed his actual IP with Cox.
Skiptracer searches are not so easily fooled by merely spelling your name wrong/differently. He once used an email address openly displaying Jack Shephard, is listed as J Sheppard and his parents? names are Shepard.
If you work as hard as he has to insult and make dire threats against as many people as he has, inevitably somebody somewhere will figure out who you are.
Nymbecile has displayed zero human empathy and contempt for humanity itself, so when he expressed overflowing human concern for the innocents, it was fairly obvious THAT was an attempt at deception.
The raging aspie's rages were to be expected either way, and his deception that posting such PUBLIC information was illegal was complete horse hockey.

You are a true idiot. ALL of the IPs "with Cox" on *this* leg show up at the same location. It is their "head end" up this way, you retarded twit.
Easy proof is simply by looking at it.It shows up on military property, you stupid twit.
So do all the other Cox accounts up here.
They NEVER resolved to an actual account holders location, you pathetic WORM.
List these alleged "dire threats".
Lying about such things is illegal as well, little man.
What you gonna do when they come for you?
You had better hope I do not "figure out who you are".
You will do prison time.
Editing post headers is Terrell's immature behavior model.
Which s where most of that block is assigned.
So, IP addresses are something else you don't understand. I've had the same dynamic IP address for several years. I'ts assigned to the cable modem by Road Runner.
You've said that for YEARS and about many people as well, ya gasbag!
There are a lot of epoxy-like coatings and inks that go on easy and cure in an hour at room temp and a few minutes in an oven (required temp dependent on ink). Any color you want. Some guaranteed impregnable.
Who wants pregnant ink? ;-)
Nobody, which is why the impregnable stuff is so popular :-)
Don't you think consumers have a right to try to repair things they've bought? Don't you hate it when car mfrs deliberately make it hard for you to fix things?
I suppose they also have the right to jump over the moon.
That doesn't mean they can do it.
No. Because it's not specifically deliberate. The relevant pithy quite is "never attribute to malice what can be explained by other means."
It's according to a carefully balanced set of priorities. If "openness" mattered in car maintenance, we'd see market pressure that way.
We don't.
The *only* way cars get more efficient is by the use of electronics. That means things like CAN bus and such that make them cheaper, more efficient and more reliable. Cars now are much, much better than even 20 years ago. There's nothing to complain about.
If you wanna use a dwell meter and timing light, the woods are full of old cars that are period-appropriate for that. Go for it. There's absolutely nothing wrong with ... Volkswagen style maintenance as a system of rituals; some people need that sort of thing.

They certainly have the right to try.
Don't you hate it when car mfrs deliberately make it hard for
Do they? The real issue there is complexity. I don't even want to try to fix anything serious on a car any more.
It's been decades since Tek or Agilent would let you see a schematic. Most instruments use house-branded parts. Microprocessor code and FPGA configs are not just undocumented, they are often encrypted. It's common to ship an instrument with bandwidth or features present but disabled, and charge a lot to enable them.
I sometimes provide a schematic and a BOM to my customers, but only if they sign an NDA. It's taken us years to develop some of the circuits we use, and to learn things about parts, and that stuff is easy to copy. I don't see any ethical issue with making it a little harder.
SRS is interesting. They still do the classic manuals, with schematics and theory of operation.

HP used to assume the user would have to fix something. They would sell kits of repair parts, so tha if you were using their instruments in say, Antarctica, you could keep it working.
How much does that add to the price, considering the onesie-twosie nature of most instruments?
This explains why schematics are not as useful as they used to be. The more functionality implemented in firmware and software, the less important it is how the hardware is hooked together.
Easy upgrade path!
Manufacturers went proprietary with their ECUs until the EPA stepped in (on behalf of independent shops as well as shade tree mechanics) and told them to go with the OBD II (SAE J1979) standard.
The OBD-II interface gives you everything an old school suite of test equipment could give you for older cars. Plus the error codes are enough to get you to the failing subsystem/sensor and fix it yourself. In some cases, it makes life easier than it was in "the good old days".

No question. interfaces for SAE J1979 are not all that pricey, either.

You don't believe in the Golden Rule, then.
