I'll keep buying and testing them, and ask for a 50% relabeling fee, or just ship back to them to do it. So far, no seller wants to take them back.

Haven't got to that point yet. Eventually, seller might dispute the return request. I guess they can argue that they know they are selling fake stuf f and i know i am buying fake stuff. Wondering how would ebay rule on it.

I dispute things all the time. Usually they just give a refund and be done with it. For pricier things they may ask you to take a half refund. I bo ught some handheld thermometers that have wonky aiming diodes. Half refund . Bought an indoor/outdoor thermometer that runs on batteries, but has a b acklight so you have to walk across the room to turn it on to read it. The y didn't say it was back lighted... so full refund, no questions. Amazing.

The vendors shipping from the US try to get returns even when scamming. Bo ught 18 gauge wire, it's more like 21 gauge. Bought 16 gauge wire, more li ke 19 gauge (turned out it was the same vendor). 14 gauge wire was ~17 gau ge copper clad and 12 gauge wire was 15 gauge. They are in Maryland and I thought about reporting them but it's not like they make it easy to do that . So I had to get the credit card company involved and got my money back o n all but the first order.

Most likely you will not hear back other than a refund. If you lose with e bay, contact your credit card company and don't go into all the background. Just tell them the batteries are listed at 9000 kAh and they are much les s which I assume you actually tested? You will get a full refund.

Not sure if the test craps out before it's all writte n or not. Almost five hours for the full test. Guess I'll know by morning . Aliexpress has a pretty good track record with me on problem orders.

Seems to me you are putting far too much effort into giving them the benefi t of the doubt when you should be pushing them hard to pay for the way they are ripping off everyone.

I bought a couple of USB flash drives and got my company logo on them free, but they aren't working drive since they faked the size indicated by the d rive from 32 GB to 128 GB. I've had offers to refund half my money! lol The drives are worthless, but more importantly they are ripping off everyo ne who doesn't know enough to test these drives.

While Aliexpress has a means of disputing these purchases, it is far too mu ch work. I'm giving up on them. I can't find a way to give a negative rat ing to anyone there, so I'm going to stick to eBay where ratings are king.

They might take back USB drives. Even air express is not too expensive. H owever, lithium batteries can only be shipped by ground transportation. Th ey are all shipping out of fulfillment center in Ontario, CA, but different seller ID everytime. I don't think the fulfillment center handle returns.

By the way, there are now 12000mAh super batteries coming out. So, 12Ah or 50Wh in a tiny package, according to their ads. I can pack 6000 of them i n my Leaf, 300kwh or 1000 miles, for around $4000.

At $0.70 for 4Wh (4.2V 990mAh) cell, it's no good.

But if they can make a profit at $0.35, that's around $0.09/Wh. If so, the y are the most efficient battery maker, and should be encouraged, despite t he way to the mean.
