I'll be darned if I can figure out why I did this!

As those who have been following know, I recently rehoused and repotted my HV sparking demo device successfully. However, wanting to retry wax potting once again also, I picked up a pair of HEI coils today at the local scrap yard. I'm going to use the same driver module for both the oil filled and wax filled coil assemblies. I already have it set up that way to make things easy. However, there are two components on my original HEI coils that I don't have a clue why I included them. My original schematic doesn't have them indicated and I can only guess that I added them later for some reason. They are the only parts, other than the HEI coils, that I also had under oil originally and everything else was in a separate driver box. Anyway, I'm enclosing the schematic of the capacitor and resistor hook ups to the HEI coils. Any idea why I might have included them? They appear to connect from one of the primary sides to HV ground.
