Elektor Summer issue 2005

just bought a copy of the latest Elektor and was pleasantly surprised not just by the content but noticing that they have returned to printing more than 100 small items in their summer issue. IIRC they last did it about 15 years ago, IMHO it was a feat none of their competitors have ever been able to pull off. This month's mag also contains full-size articles on vehicle diagnosis using OBD (theory and practice). July/August 2005 is the thickest issue I've ever seen of the mag. - 144 pages.

The content of Elektor/Elektuur varies by country. At least the Dutch version has has this 100+ acticle summer edition for as long as I remember (that is, at the very least the last 30 years).

The UK Elektor has always had the special summer edition, as well.

Leon, you are right, but Elektor's English edition did not have 100+ circuits in their summmer issues published between ?1990 and 2004. Now they do (too).

Further to this discussion, I just saw the announcement on the Elektor UK homepage that the entire July/August 2005 magazine can be downloaded. Must be one ^@%$ of a file as they print in full colour. A good initiative, though, especially for overseas readers waiting for their copy to arrive by the slow boat.
