is there any device that would if the tag get within a certain radius(360degree) of the device????
A- is on the table and B- is in you pocket
when you(B) get within 10m(1-2-5-10m whatever) B notice A or warns you....??????????????
anything apreciate...I just found stuff about shoplifting tag which is nothing like a interaction of A & B...............

Sounds like RFID to me.
Or a cat and a dog.
Bluetooth enabled devices can do this but is probably overkill. A couple of friends have their Bluetooth enabled Cellphones connected to their laptop computers so when they walk a certain distance away from the laptops carrying the phones the laptops kick in the locked screensaver.
Could do this with a PDA as well as laptops. Or any two bluetooth devices.
