Where is that? I see a fuse in the secondary center tap. What are you seeing?

Designing in any fire is a dumb idea.

If they were, there would be no heat = no explosion. There is (resistance), so there can be. ...and often is.

Real diodes fail with a low enough resistance (not zero, of course) to cause fuses, transformers, PCB traces to blow.

  1. Utter nonsense.
  2. There aren't any fuses in the path. That's the point.
