By ripping up a microwave oven, bolting a horn on the magnetron and blasting the dirt, and looking at what got hot with thermal imaging, I can see the metal. Dirt has some transparency to ir. Can someone tell me where to get polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF)? Thanks in advance. Larry

Am I missing something, or is this the type of equipment that would need more tooling and precision than something you could do in an average kitchen?

Thats pretty much where I am planning on doing it. If you're interested, I'll tell you how to do silk screens, etching, etc. Larry

The article says it is cheap. Digging thru The google stuff, I came up with a minimum of $200 for a small chunk. I would like something a little cheaper. Thanks for your input. Larry
