Krw is too dumb to realise that anthropogenic global warming - the increase in the average temperatures at the surface of the earth - is perfectly com patible with local variations above and below that average.
People now call it climate change to make it easier for this kind of idiot.
The deviations can be quite spectacular. The Younger Dryas - which happened when the world was warming up from the most recent ice age - made the clim ate around the North Atlantic a whole lot colder for 1300+/-10 years. Turni ng off the Gulf Stream has that effect.
