The CDC provides numbers that no one else does, infection counts adjusted t o the estimated date of infection. I thought that might be a better estima te of the progress of this disease and even more interesting information on how these numbers progress. However, the CDC doesn't post the information on the weekends and the data for those days is lost. I saw one day where the numbers barely changed from the day before. Now, the numbers which sho uld include the entire weekend have not changed at all. The chart was upda ted around noon, but at 2 pm the site is still displaying the out of date d ata.
WTF???!!! The leading US government resource for information on this disea se can't even manage to process and display basic data on it? Ok, maybe th at explains a few things.
