Something else they're not telling people is that victims with weak immune systems, like the Germ Princess crowd, actually shed a more virulent form o f the virus. Incompetent and weak immune systems are like a tutorial for th e virus to learn how to best navigate the host, defeat weakling antibodies, and optimize their replication.

Actually they don't. The virus genome doesn't seem to have changed signific antly since the epidemic got underway

Which they can only do by changing their genome, which happens by random mu tation - nothing the immune system does directly affects the genome, and a weak immune system doesn't kill off enough viruses with dud genomes to sele ct out some optimised version of the genome.
