Automobile electric diagrams

Jun 30, 2006 9 Replies

My old 91 Jeep Cherokee is getting to the point where it has frequent opportunities for electrical system do-it-yourself repair projects. Looking for an on-line wiring diagram, I found a website called alldatadiy.com. Access to their data costs $25/year. Does anyone have experience with this company? Or know of a free site to view a wiring diagram?

Why don't you subscribe and find out ?:-)

I don't have vehicles quite that old, but I do like to add my own accessories. So a good wiring diagram is quite nice.

Of course you can probably buy the OEM shop manual for about the same bucks.

Let us know.

Hello Jim,

That would be my first priority. Ain't nothing like a nice book, a laptop or a binder full of letter-A sheets isn't going to cut it for me out there in the garage.

I'd go to Napa, Kragen's or a large bookstore.

Look up Helm Publishing. They print most of the real shop manuals.

For OEM manuals:

Buy the best and only cry once....

Hmmm, no Chrysler products listed at first glance!

I once found a wiring diagram for a 1975 Plymouth Gran Fury at the public library, in the reference section. It was about a 1.5" thick book of 11 x

17 pages.

And the library is already paid for, by taxes. :-)

Have Fun! Rich

Get the OEM service manual. I got one for my car on EBAY.

I thought you rode a bicycle (while wearing sandals ;-)

Thanks for the suggestion. Searched eBay, found a manual, bought it for $5.20 (plus $6 shipping).
