Ampli High Current High Voltage Large Bandwith

Aug 10, 2005 8 Replies

We are involved in one project which needs to amplify a sinusoidal signal (~15 MHZ) without harmonic distortion (at least minimal distortion) and we are looking for an Amplifier or a components assembly with the following features: output current >= ~ 1.5 A output voltage >= +/- ~20 V bandwidth >= 30 MHz Until now we have used the LT1210 component but the voltage is not as high as necessary at ~15 MHz. Is there some one who can help us on this subject? Thanks in advance,

Bruno.

Are you looking for this sort of thing?

Good Luck! Rich

Thanks for your answer! Actually, we are looking for a discrete component or an assembly of discrete components with all these features: output current >= ~ 1.5 A output voltage >= +/- ~20 V bandwidth >= 30 MHz low distortion

Thanks again,

Bruno

Can the output be capacitively coupled? This would make things a bit easier.

What output impedance do you want?

The output can't be capacitively coupled, and the output impedance must be under 10ohm.

Down to what frequency?

Can it be a bridge output (two push-pull outputs)? Your +/-20V spec is a killer, and would be a much more managable +/-10V with a bridge output.

What are you trying to make?

Thanks, - Win
