2 inch cube computer works with touch screen

My little cubox-i pro works with my touch display. Right out of the box.

It is an amazing world.

Is it better than a Roku?

Apples and oranges. Roku is a turn key streamer. The Cubox and similar devices are arm boards.

These little arm boards are plenty of fun and plenty of frustration since linux on arm is cutting edge.

Skip the Raspberry Pi. Crappy processor. BeagleBone Black gets you a full A8 processor.

If I could get a linux box like this with HDMI to run VLC player I'd be happy. Has anybody coded VLC for Arm 8 code?

It runs on Raspberry PI. it probably runs better if you activate the hardware MPEG2 codec, the hardware H.264 comes activated from the factory.

The thing run XBMC. What do you think?

BTW, ARM is small endian, so nothing special needed, like with PPC ports.

Can any of the tiny ARM boards seriously compete with something like your Acer Aspire Revo?
