2.4 mm semirigid patch cords

Gents,

Who's the best supplier of 26-50 GHz patch cords these days? I need about half a dozen 3- and 6-inch semirigid coax links.

Cheers,

Don't know about 2.4's, but Lighthorse makes nice custom SMA and SMB assemblies for us.

My sampling heads quit at 20 GHz, so I can use SMA's, and there's heaps of SMA hardlines on ebay!

Is there a market for 7 mm APC connectors ? How about GR hermorphodite (sp) connectors ?

GR connectors are strictly hobby stuff nowadays, owing to the large amount of very cheap surplus RF gear that's available. 7mm connectors are still used in network analyzers and so on, but only for precise measurements--which means that you really need quality connectors from a reputable vendor. The amount of time one can waste doing incorrect network measurements costs a lot more than decent connectors and a decent standard open/short set.

Phil, Thanks about the GR & 7mm APC connectors. My company has a bunch of this stuff sitting around unused. We are starting to sell it. I was just wondering if connectors should be sold as scrap metal or electronic connectors. I can't give details on the sale, I work for a big company and we have an agreement with another company to sell the items. My job is to document / pack the items and submit to purchasing. You know how the legal beagles are.

Even the GRs will be worth more as connectors, I think.

The GR stuff isn't worth much, but a nice APC-SMA adapter still sells for over $100 new.
