I'm in the process of taking apart an old TI-85 calculator to salvage the graphic LCD module. There are three other chips in the calculator, of which I have found two datasheets (LH531 -- mask ROM && W242575 --
32k x 8 CMOS RAM). I'm looking for the datasheet associated with the processor, a T6A43 by Toshiba. I have googled and been to their website to no avail. Considering these calculators where built in
1991, this processor is probably not available as a component any longer except from specialty legacy supply houses.
I would seem that these T6A43 processors would specialize in mathematics ( float, trig, perhaps maticies), and would be great for signal processing. Then again I may be wrong
I have 3 of these caculcators and would like to salvage these processors if at all possible. Step one, find a data sheet for the chip.
Any Ideas?
