I need a p-channel mosfet with no more than about 20 milliohm resistance that will conduct at least ten amps with a gate voltage of about 6 volts and I looked at datasheets for STP80PF55 and IRF4905L.
They cost the same and have low enough Rds but only the IRF4905 has the graph that shows drain current versus Vds (with curves for half a dozen different gate voltages), which makes it look like IRF4905 will work. I like the STP80PF55 because it has a lower Rds (also smaller package) but I can't find out how much it conducts at Vgs=6 volts when the datasheet doesn't have the graphs that you see on most mosfet datasheets.
Are you listening, STMicroelectronics?
