UPS with wet cells

I'm assuming by wet cells you mean a sealed lead acid battery. I have a Digitech MP5205 that has a VRLA (SLA) 7Ah 12 V battery for the UPS side of things. I see some models of APC UPS have the same battery and, I think, also Eaton. Even my NBN wall box has the same battery in it. They are fairly ubiquitous. Obviously they come in different sizes but most I have used seem to have a 7 or 9 Ah VRLA battery. Because they are valve regulated they can be safely used in a home/office environment.

Nope, consumer UPSes only use SLA or AGM batteries. Wet cells vent gas, and aren't suitable for most consumer applications.

Can you tell us why you want wet cells?

Even if I wanted to do that(continually replace SLAs in the NBN UPS boxen, it still doesn't givem me a phone in a blackout without another UPS for some combination of (router, POE switch and VOIP handset).
