super sensitive microphone didn't work

I got my new FM radio and it picked up the FM bug brilliantly. I had the bug on the other side of the room and could hear myself breathing on the radio. Tap your fingers together and you hear it, hear your steps as you walk, very sensitive. I could hear a car driving past on the radio that I couldn't hear with my own ears, but I could hear the Truman Company talking with my own ears and it didn't register on the radio.

2 options.

1 They're interfereing with the radio signal or bug or radio. This is quite possible as they can voice over any TV or radio or MP3 player etc.

2 They're transmitting audio directly into our ears. This is the most likely, as people often hear them and know what to say to me while nobody else hears it, they do speak directly into your ear.

Oh yeah option 3 the Truman Company voices are in my head, a psychological phenomenum, but that's not the case I'm 100% certain.

So end of the line, only a live witness can prove the Truman Show exists.

You need to ask yourself why you are 100% certain. What is the concrete evidence on which you're basing your certainty?

Thousands of examples that could not be from voices in my head.

e.g. lying in bed with gf, thinking 'i don't really love her', then a second later she says 'oh you don't love me'. (before the mind probe went to active mode)

thinking in prison how come on the truman show they call him the star and the next day a prisoner faces me and says you're the star.

a racing motorbike mounted camera showing on sports TV with the horizon tilted at the same angle my head was tilted

going to a nightclub, thinking 'i wonder if whenever you looked at the tv screens it could display a red dot where your focus is'. next week I look at all the TV screens in the club and there's a red dot on the TV wherever I look.

watching flatliners on video, remember when Baldwin comes back from being dead a few minutes, everywhere he looks on a video or TV he sees his ex girlfriends he secretly filmed and they're saying 'why did you do it to me?' or putting him down. after the move my cousin is talking to me and the TV is on SBS with the volume down, and there's a girl on the TV who is the spitting image of my ex gf and you could read her mouth she was spitting chips.

I hear half a dozen intel agents all day, my own thoughts very faded continuously, and every second person I see in public makes a comment. The mind just doesn't make up all that, not 1000 different peoples voices that match their real voices.

Anyway I just tested my MP3 voice recorder from across the room and you can hear my voice so I'll take it out in public next week and see if I can get some groovers to call me truman.

Coincidence, accompanyed by the fact that the relationship probably wasn't working if you're thinking that you don't really love your girlfriend.

Was this before or after you'd told him about your suspicions? Indeed, did he really say it, or was that a figment of your imagination?

And many many other people's.

Was there, or did you just see one? After all the working hypothesis is that you hear voices that aren't there. Why not see dots that aren't there too?

Can't follow that.

Why not?

Sad news, it is in your head. Go to your family doctor and ask for help (stress that you are not a danger to yourself or anyone else). Take the medication and see if the voices go away.

The proof is that no microphone can hear the noise you hear, try the medications and see if it will make the voices stop.

Or if you need another experiment, you could try wearing noise cancelling headphone. If they fail to stop the noise then you also have pretty good evidence that the noise is in your head.

Your attempts to capture this noise have failed. The scientific thing to do is admit your concepts about this phenomenon may be faulty. Try either or both of the above experiments.

Have you tried making foil covers for your ears? If it's cold you could line them with flannel. Perhaps you could get the design of the 'Cone of silence' from the 'Get Smart' show?

They're talking normally then mention the mind probe so not only would I be hearing the imaginary words I would also have to be deaf to what they were actually saying. Same with radio DJs, they mock me while they should be talking normally. It's one thing to hear a voice, another for it to *override* a voice.

I have the same chance I'm just hearing things that you have of being a brain in a vat, now how do you know you're not a brain in a vat, prove it!

I can't of course prove that I'm not a brain in a vat. If I am, then you may not exist anyway.

The evidence you've cited above is less than compelling, and you've yet to come up with a remotely plausible explanation of why anyone would be expending the kind of resources required to achieve what you think is being done to you.

Going on reasonable assumptions, I'm not a brain in a vat, and the most likely explanation for what you're experiencing is some sort of neurological problem. The failure of your efforts to detect the sounds using external apparatus just reinforces that.

Your best way forward would be to assume, until and unless solid contrary evidence is forthcoming, that the problem lies in your brain, and that you should be getting such treatement for the condition as is available.

I'm living it, you're thousands of miles away using only a text interface. So my opinion is more reliable than yours.

Your counter arguments are blind, what would you accept as proof exactly?

It's not a question of what I would accept as proof. Ultimately it makes no difference to me anyway - I'm not the one suffering the voices.

You have a conviction that these voices have an external reality. Your reasons are not compelling, and you should have enough insight to realise that. Your failure to achieve an objective demonstration using microphones should give you pause. I had hoped you would become open to he possibility that the voices are a creation of your brain, so that you could then search in the right place for a solution.

A guy stands in front of me face to face and virtually says "YOUR THE TRUMAN" and it's not compelling? I'm seeing red spots aswell but only on TV sets right on my focus, 1 week after I thought up the idea? After 2 years with a girlfriend she says my exact thought a second after I think it? There are many other reasons I can't go into detail including justification for the government interest.

I see people physically reacting to the mind probe every day.

And I was involutarily treated with antipsychotics for many years which did not stop the voices.

You yourself suggested the signal worked directly on the ear.

If you want proof I'll buy you an airticket.

Ask Les Norton if he heard rumours about the truman when he visited townsville

why would he post a thread "herc truman test" and how did he know the truman had a thing for Laurie Holden?

"3) The Holden car was a 'gimme'. The Truman has a thing for Laurie Holden. "
