square wave inverter and cfl buzz

I am running a cfl off a 300w 12v inverter in a solar offgrid situation. The 300w inverter is a not true sinewave but a square wave type.

Everything works well, nothing gets too hot but I get annoying buzz sound. I have tried a few different CFLs still the same buzz.

Is there a way to filter out bad harmonics without wasting power or sacrificing efficiency?

An option is purchase 12V CFLs. I found these to be good but the rating of

30W is not true, closer to 20W in my experience. Still eqivelant to a 100W bulb in the old money.
