Coles now sells a conventional looking [from the outside] lamp with halogen lamp inside it [40w].Is this getting ready for new lamp ban? Near five Dollars.Did not look green. [it was clear][sarcasm]

Able to stay on sale after standard GLS bulbs have been banned.
This is scheduled to start in October THIS YEAR - with a total ban on importation.

It always seems such a useless catch-phrase "up to" would'nt it be nice if manufacturers were brave enough to put a minium life on stuff ?
