ION Turntable

Anyone seen this? It's a USB based turntable for copying traditional
records to a computer or digital recording source....

Looks like an interesting gadget to be sure, if only those boxes of
records had not warped they could be played.

No it doesn't. It measures the reflective angle in an attempt to acquire
the audio information from the disk's audio content. They've never worked
half as well as a standard player in good condition. They tend to be best at
playing the crud in the grooves instead of the grooves.
