Directv & the Whole Free Tainted Story

"Free Installation" is a common term, nothing more than a marketing ploy. For real service done right the first time, pay for the custom install. You'll appreciate the fact your appointment wasn't missed, your service was done right with no repeat visits from new technicians, and no damage to your home. How do I know? I've just been in the business for 20 years and I can tell you three things that will make you want to find a company other than the "Free" moguls.

1) Each install is worth approximately $250.00 and that's before you start talking about additional outlets & activation with upgrade 2)Service calls cost about $50.00 whether it is the leased equipment or not you still pay for the service call 3)Installation wait time is about 2 to 10 days. No, I'm not selling you anything. I'm just telling it like it is and that is if you want real service you'll find a company to install it and do it right. Ask me if you want a list of them and I'll post it here or send you a reply.

Why would I pay $250 for something I can do myself? Lets see one of those overpriced bozos do a dual feed conversion on a five meter S/A dish on the side of a steep hill, and run 1.25" heliax for both LNAs into a headend.

Been There, Done That, converted the 5 M S/A Dish from Casigrain to Prime Focus.
