Is anyone aware of a transmitted or hard-wired system that allows one to dial in a phone number on a production model cell phone and engage in a two-way conversation remotely.
IOW over a distance of perhaps 20 metres, and without the caller actually touching the phone.
This assumes the phone is always switched "on", and the phone legally belongs to the operator.
If the dialling is a problem, how about accessing and selecting a phone number from the phone's stored "phone book"?
Yes, I have already thought of a keypad punching robot. Too involved unless there is something ready-made that can be hacked.
