Is it possible to change the display colour of the mouse pointer on a Pi5?
Currently keeps disappearing against my preferred background colour.

Thats a function of the OS, not the PI5.
Usually there is a setting somewhere near 'appearance' and 'themes'
That’s a function of the GUI, not the OS.
There normally are different shape themes, but most are either white on black or black on white. It is possible to introduce some colour, this might be of help:-

That's clever, make your own. Otherwise, might take a look at
Applications > Settings > Mouse and Touchpad
