What projection LCD parts are available?

My mate's Samsung SP56L5HX1 appears to have a discoloured optical component in the LCD Engine. WES Components in Sydney (Australia) are quoting just over $2500 for a replacement LCD engine assembly. Just wondering if anyone knows if individual parts of the LCD engine are available? There's no mention of them in the service manual, but I thought I'd ask just in case....

Hi, In my haste I forgot to mention for everyone's benefit that this is a large-screen rear projection TV I'm referring to. :-) Ah, so that's their reason/excuse for only supplying the complete assembly. Thanks for the information. It's looking like my mate's going to be buying a new TV fairly soon...
