UPDATE: RCA TV (32" pic) F32676SB, ch CTC197CD

Hi,

I replaced the FBT even though all out of circuit tests on it revealed no defects. With a new FBT installed, the TV stays on. The HV is over 30KV (with a picture showing) and B+ is

141.5V (TV on). A label on the chassis (for this 32" picture tube type), says, "HV 29.5KV / 34.2KV". I assume this is a range of minimum to maximum? Please let me know if I am wrong.

Thanks in advance, Brad

Hi,

More Info:

I found two defective parts in the V. Regulator circuit. R126 open (overheated). It looks like 10K so I replaced it with

10K 1W. C147 1.5/100 105deg. was a little low. I replaced it with a 2.2/100 105deg (don't have 1.5). Now the standby voltage is 141V. HV measured 31KV (picture showing).
