Seb vitadelice

"I'm looking for a tank float for a Seb Vitadelice oven. The magnet is rusty."

Why do ovens have water tanks in France? They don't seem to have tanks in England.

Looks like a combined over and steamer. Could probably also be used for oven baking recipeis that require a tray of water below the items being baked to add steam during the process. Some french bread recipies ask for this. Images of the brand have a commercial look to them so might also be used for cooking sous vide.

I would think, once the water is out of the float, the float could be repaired. PC-70 would work but would make the float heavier. Maybe that would only change the water level slightly, and since it refills automatically, I suppose, it wouldn't matter if it were a liittle lower. And it wouldn't matter if it were higher as long as it didn't overflow. Perhaps it could not overflow even if it went to the top.

And we all know how many differences there are between England and France.

Assuming it would not melt the float, heating the float would vaporize the water and it would disperse throught the leak, but if that's not a good idea, drilling another bigger hole in the float would allow it to drain. I assume there is water in there now or there would be no likely reason to replace it.

The magnet has to switch ILS trough the plastic tank. We found four ILS for level information. If the cpu doesn't get level information the owen is not working. End of game. We make a test outside of the oven to active ILS with a magnet, it's OK.
